I just watched Crazy, Stupid, Love yesterday with my great-grandmother of 80-something. It was hilarious! Needless to say all these gushy romantica movies give us girls some false hope. The overused dramatic story of a guy changing because of some girl he’s in love with. It doesn’t happen. Jacob Palmer, Ryan Gosling’s character, has this suave persona about him that makes him so attractive, he’s rich and even has a little accent going on. It’s sexy. But really guys you don’t need all this. Just be yourselves. Some girl out there will appreciate you just the way you are. You shouldn’t impress anyone, wait it out. Your time will come and if she doesn’t value you then to hell with her. Same goes for you ladies. Don’t let anyone or worse yourself objectify you. Your beautiful smart and gorgeous, you have wit beyond your years, youre well-versed in the culture and the arts. Find your niche and roll with it. Our soulmates are out there!
